NAACE #3mhothouse

The 3rd Millennium Hothouse was a fantastic 2-day event run by NAACE which I was very lucky to attend. The main focus of the event was on moving ICT learning forwards into the third millennium through sharing good practice, and the development of a new curriculum which is particularly pertinent as the Programme of Study for ICT is soon to be removed and free rein handed over to schools. NAACE have developed a new ICT framework which featured heavily in discussion and of course, they also do the ICT mark which schools can apply for so are well placed to bring together ideas and push this forwards.
I'm going to blog about some of the things that had the most impact on me in separate blog posts, but as always, one of the best things about this event was the networking and discussions that took place aside from the workshops and masterclasses. I probably didn't talk to ask many people as I should have (I am such a wuss when it comes to socialising!) but it was fantastic to meet and learn from so many great people, both on and off twitter. If you want to know some of the great people to follow check out the #3mhothouse hashtag.
